We will now summarise a few of Spain’s most important traditions and national holidays:

6 & 8th December – Spanish Constitution Day (Día de la Constitución) and Immaculada Concepciòn

This holiday celebrates the approval of the Spanish Constitution in 1978, as a transition from dictatorship to democracy, which established how the government would work. The long weekend with the Immaculada Conception, a typical Catholic holiday, represents a great opportunity to not only celebrate the Spanish culture but also to offer special discounts for the month of December, as well as to send newsletters with promotions to your subscribers. 


10th April – 17th April, Semana Santa

Semana Santa, Holy Week in English, is the name of the Spanish Easter period. During this 1-week celebration, many religious events take place throughout the main cities, such as processions with floats, pieces of art representing religious figures, pointy hats, and veils. The week is also accompanied by traditional Spanish Easter food, including torrijas and monas de pascua.
